Joe Van Clock, M.S.

Joe is an experienced researcher who excels at all aspects of program evaluation and market research projects, including conducting in-depth interviews, analyzing qualitative data, and reporting and presenting research findings.

He has an M.A. in global communications from the University of Southern California, an M.S. in global media from the London School of Economics, and a B.A. in international affairs and Hispanic studies from Lewis & Clark College.

He’s lent his expertise to a wide range of projects, including market characterizations of business and consumer electronics products, comparison research into the role of evaluation in efficiency organizations throughout North America, and evaluations of efforts to promote whole-house retrofits in California and across the country.

He enjoys hands-on research, particularly uncovering why people act, or don’t act even when they know they should. In his spare time, he gets outside with his kids to hike, canoe, and kayak.
