In 2009, for Energy Trust of Oregon, Research Into Action designed and conducted an experimental test of a rapid response ("Fast Feedback") process for obtaining satisfaction feedback and other types of information from nonresidential program participants. The study involved refining the survey questions; determining which tracking data would trigger survey implementation; developing alternative formatting and delivery approaches; conducting the experiment to determine highest response rates; exploring potential nonresponse bias; and developing a reporting format for incremental and cumulative findings.
