Based on our successful test of a "Fast Feedback" approach to the evaluation of Energy Trust of Oregon's programs, in 2010 Energy Trust contracted with Research Into Action to apply the methodology to the following programs: Existing Single Family/Existing Manufactured Homes, Residential Solar Water Heating, Residential Solar Electric, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR™, Home Products (including Refrigerator Recycling), Existing Buildings, Commercial Solar, Existing Multifamily, New Buildings and New Multifamily, and Production Efficiency. Research Into Action interviewed a sample of owners who completed projects through seven specific Energy Trust programs during the previous month. We also trained Energy Trust call center staff to interview those who completed projects through three additional programs, in order to facilitate transition of the expanded Fast Feedback process to Energy Trust. Our report analyzed responses and results for all programs and measures, identified any difficulties related to the roll-out, and recommended how Energy Trust could implement the Fast Feedback methodology in-house.
