In 2010 and 2011, Research Into Action collaborated with Ecos on a plug load opportunity assessment for the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance. We characterized the market and identified energy efficiency opportunities for four electronic products: TVs, desktop personal computers (PCs), streaming media, and game consoles. This work builds on the ground-breaking Business and Consumer Electronics Program Market Characterization and Evaluability Assessment Research Into Action conducted for Southern California Edison in 2008-2009.
