Project: Process Evaluation of NW Food Processors Association's Green Energy Management System Pilot Program

Northwest Food Processors Association

In 2009, Research Into Action conducted a process evaluation of the Northwest Food Processors Association's (NWFPA) Green Energy Management System (GEMS) Pilot Program. Research Into Action interviewed four of the program participants to determine if GEMS were a reliable and user-friendly tool to reduce energy consumption for manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution, and if GEMS provided energy-intensity data in a standard format to help NWFPA evaluate the success of its energy initiatives.
