Research Into Action is part of a team led by HMG that is conducting multi-year (2011-2013) process evaluations of San Diego Gas & Electric Company's and Southern California Gas Company's (Sempra Energy) nonresidential energy efficiency programs. We are the sector lead for many of the local and most of the third-party programs: Health Care Energy Efficiency Program, Lodging Energy Efficiency Program, Program for Resource Efficiency in Private Schools, Local Island, On-Bill Financing, Local Strategic Development and Integration, California Sustainability Alliance, Energy Challenger, Mobile Energy Clinic, Kitchen-learning Center, Save Gas Hot Water Control, and Portfolio of the Future. In the first year of the evaluation, we evaluated two of the third-party programs -- PREPS and SaveGas -- and the On-Bill Financing Program, and also carried out the portfolio-level analysis of third-party programs for both utilities.
