Project: Process Evaluations of NYSERDA Energy $mart Programs

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority

Research Into Action has led comprehensive process evaluations of New York State Energy Research and Development Authority's (NYSERDA) residential, business, institutional and research and development programs since 2003. This project covered program evaluations in 2004 and 2005. During 2004, we evaluated the ENERGY STAR Products, ENERGY STAR Labeled Home, Home Performance with ENERGY STAR, and Commercial/Industrial Performance programs, and a cross-cutting evaluation for nine business sector programs targeted at mid-market actors. In 2005, we continued to examine the ENERGY STAR Products program, the nine cross-cutting business sector programs, and the Peak Load Reduction program. Finally, we evaluated NYSERDA's coordination of its business and institutional programs. In 2007 through 2009, building on our previous work, we are providing an evaluation of the Enhanced Commercial/Industrial Performance Program, the Multi-Family Building Performance Program, Single-Family Home Performance Program, an Energy $mart Communities Program, a nonresidential Loan Fund and Financing Program, and a Clean Energy Photovoltaic Program.
