In 2007, Research Into Action contributed to a study that sought to identify 10-12 programs and emerging technologies that the Bonneville Power Administration could add to its portfolio of energy efficiency initiatives. Drawing on interviews with program implementers, we provided descriptions that included details of the programs, how the programs had been marketed, and barriers each program faced. This research helped inform BPA's development of energy efficiency programs, build a regional infrastructure for acquiring conservation and achieve 52 aMW/year as outlined in their strategy for FY 2007.
