Research Into Action welcomes two new staff members

We’d like to extend a very warm welcome to our two newest staff members, Elizabeth Focella (left) and Anne Weaver (right)!

Elizabeth is a social psychologist who specializes in behavior change research. She comes to Research Into Action from the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, where she directed the Attitudes and Behavior Change Research Lab and taught undergraduate and graduate courses on social psychology, health psychology, and attitudes. Elizabeth holds a Ph.D. in social psychology from the University of Arizona with a minor in marketing and, as a Consultant 2, she will help us explore the human elements of clean energy.

With a background in research to support sustainability, the environment, and renewable energy, Anne Weaver is the perfect fit for our team. She recently graduated with an M.S. in environmental science and management from Portland State University, where she served as a research assistant and worked on several projects related to the environmental social sciences. As a Consultant 1, she will lend this experience and expertise to our work related to renewable energy and energy efficiency programs.
