Kara Crohn

Dr. Crohn brings 13 years of experience in project management, survey design, and data analysis focused on understanding the patterns of behavior that underlie technological, social, and educational phenomena. Dr. Crohn’s work includes program evaluation, market research, and special projects focused on revealing the most effective aspects of a variety of behavior-change programs.

Her background in education, sociology, organizational behavior, and the high-tech industry contributes to the design of studies that explore behavioral and demand response. As a Senior Project Analyst at Research Into Action, she manages all aspects of evaluation projects, including: developing research plans, testing analytical approaches, coordinating data collection and analysis, and authoring reports. Since she joined Research Into Action in early 2010, Dr. Crohn started a Southern California office that extends Research Into Action’s ability to readily meet with its California clients.

Dr. Crohn has a Ph.D. and M.A. in Education from UCLA with an emphasis on program evaluation and a B.A. in Sociology from Hamilton College.
