Collin Fellows

Mr. Fellows is a skilled project manager with 12 years of experience in qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis, and dissemination; training; focus group design and moderation; work plan development; and program and project management. He manages all aspects of evaluation projects, including: developing research plans, testing analytical approaches, and coordinating data collection and analysis. His sociology background contributes to the design of studies that explore behavioral and demand response.

Prior to joining Research Into Action, Mr. Fellows was on the faculty of Portland State University, where he focused on researching and providing assistance to first-generation and other under-represented student populations. He managed the Students First Mentoring Program, directed the LearnerWeb pilot program to provide developmental assistance to incoming students, and was research manager of a National Academic Advising Association study of the long-term effects of participation in student support programs. He also served as business analyst and trainer for RHI Management Resources and Emerald Solutions. He contributed to Experimental Design: The Handbook of Emergent Methods and The SAGE Handbook of Public Opinion Research. He has presented widely on impacts of first-generation and minority status on college performance.

Mr. Fellows has an M.S. and B.S. in Sociology, both from Portland State University.
